Front Lounge

The famous Katuk Front Lounge is perfect for functions of all group sizes and occasions. This space is a semi private space, and is roped off for you and your guests. Katuk provides wristbands for all attendees, to identify those guests who can use the bar tab/beverage package. The space is suitable for functions 30-70 people.

Frequently Asked Questions

When can I view the space?

To book an appointment to view the space, please contact us via email or phone us directly 0448 006 006. We can take viewing appointments Monday-Friday between 9am to 6pm. We can arrange an after hours or weekend appointment if required.

Otherwise this area is open to the general public 7 days a week from 5pm onwards if you prefer to view the space yourself and then contact us with any questions.

How many guests can I have?

Up to 70.

Timing for functions?

Night time events can start any time from 5pm, and the rope remains in place until 11.00pm. You and your guests are welcome to stay after 11.00pm, and will never be asked to leave however the rope is removed at this time and members of the general public are welcome to move through the space at this time.

Timings for day time functions are flexible. Contact us directly to enquire about a day time function.

Can I have a bar tab?

Yes you may. Beverages can be in the form of either a bar tab or a beverage package.

Can I decorate?

We do not allow anything stuck to a painted surface, no confetti or glitter (including balloons filled with confetti or glitter) and no open flames or candles other than birthday candles. Any other decorations are welcomed.

Can I have underage guests?

You may, as long as our underage guest policy is met.

Can I bring a cake?

Being a carpeted area, cake is not permitted in The Front Lounge. However, we recommend cupcakes, macaroons or something of the sort as this is less likely to be dropped into the carpet.

Is there a smoking area?

Yes! The Front Lounge includes exclusive use of the smoking balcony overlooking Chapel Street.
